Wonderful in Paris

It’s been a while since my stay, but I will always remember the Hotel St. Anne fondly.  My college roommate and I walked off the Eurostar in Paris with our bags and no hotel reservations in April 2004. (The carelessness of youth!) After dragging our bags around the city, a nice tourist from India helped us find a nearby hotel with vacancies - the Hotel Ste. Anne. We walked in the lobby and they asked how much I wanted to pay for a room, I said 100 Euros (Remember, 2004) and, voila!, we had a room. The neighborhood was lovely and the views gorgeous. I loved the hotel which was in the middle of everything you could want to see in Paris. The rooms were beautifully, yet simply, decorated. The staff was incredible and breakfast was lovely. I can’t wait to go back to Paris.
